Stella is curiose. For example, Stella admitted to her mother what she’d been thinking as she watched her, how can you do all that at once? Her mother replied with I felt the same way at your age, Stella my mother had seven children I don’t think she had a good night sleep in 20 years as she laughed. That makes me believe that Stella is curiose because she clearly wasn’t born long enough ago to know about her mother like she had 7 brothers and sisters so Stella could be trying to find out about her mothers past because that is interesting text evidence because I don’t think Stella would’ve ever or even the readers would’ve guessed that about her mother. 🤔

Spoon Man is unusual because according to the text he burped then covered his mouth to smell it. I think that is unusual because people don’t normally just burp then cover there mouth to sniff it. Then Spoon Man seems like he’s trying to somehow get closer to Stella in many different ways. Because he was I think fighting back to someone who was yelling and someone from Stellas family or friends. But I do believe that Spoon Man is unusual because no one would be like Spoon Man twards Stella. 🧐

I recommend this book because it has adventure and excitement also it has plot twists. For example Ivan was trying to get out of a cage but it was very hard so instead his friend came to help him but Ivan was still stuck but his friend just said it simple to get out. If I were Ivan I would be annoyed and frustrated with my friend. But it’s a perfect book if you like adventure! 💖

I gave Hope in the Holler this rating because some of the characters are not as honest and kind around Hope.

My favorite character is Hope

Hope is very clever and kind of another story. What I mean is she can be outstanding a even is kind to people that don’t really show respect around her.

When she didn’t let Gilbert take a shower

I like it because he just came to Hope saying I need to take a shower. Even though he was filthy and stinky Hope said no. But that made me laugh.

I think that Samantha is trying to rob her in away because according to the text she was ”sad” when her mother died. Which leads me to believe Hope also thought that that was sketchy. And if I was hope I would find her as a red flag because she could be trying to steal Hopes money by adopting her and abandoning Hope.

I think that she misses her mom. According to the text she was saying, ”I remember Mama’s blue eyes crinkled at the corners when she said to me, I don’t know about that but I’m the luckiest.” But then cancer diagnosis was always there.” It seemed like what her mom was saying came clear to her and knew her mom loves her and when she was seperated from her mom she suddenly missed her. That’s why I think she misses her mother. Also I think that she was weirded out because at the funeral a clown without makeup or grease still made her mother laugh so I think she’d be weirded out.
